Garlic Parmesan Crab Wings

Ingredients
  • For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • For the Wings:
    • 4-6 Handy Seafood Panko Breaded Soft Shell Crab Portions
    • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley and half of the grated Parmesan cheese (reserve the remaining cheese for garnish). Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Keep warm over low heat.
  • Heat the Oil: Heat enough vegetable oil to a temperature of 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the Crab Wings: Carefully fry the soft shell crab portions according to the instructions on the carton, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  • Toss in Sauce: Once drained, immediately transfer the hot crab wings to a large bowl. Pour the warm garlic butter sauce over the crab wings and toss gently to coat them evenly.
  • Serve: Garnish with the remaining grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley (optional). Serve immediately and enjoy!
