Handy launches its Gastropub Collection of “social seafood” for foodservice. The collection was developed to focus on the hot new trend of small plates/sharing plates on appetizer or upscale bar menus and works equally well as an add-on to an entrée.
According to Handy’s Executive Chef, Nikki Trzeciak, “I developed this collection of shareable, small plates to add variety and increase the seafood offerings and profits for restaurants. There are a variety of different flavors throughout the collection drawing on both national and international cooking traditions. All of the items pair well with wine, micro beers or cocktails.”
Each recipe is made with the freshest of ingredients and each product is handmade. Included in the collection are 3 varieties of Shrimp & Crab Dip-Bites (Wasabi, Buffalo and Baja—The Dip is in the Bite!), Shrimp & Grits Cakes, Mediterranean Cod Cakes and more.
Restaurants that wish to jump on the trend of “sharables” should think small plates, big flavor and even bigger profits when they add one or more of Handy’s Gastropub items to their menu.
